SES Fund-raiser, Family Day at Rosebud

Great work on Saturday at Rosebud. I think we had a good balance in each part and the word is we could be heard well, even over the generator and the wind!

Thanks for your patience as we waited for our turn on stage. Luckily delays like that haven't happened often when we have performed and as you could see, the sound guys were doing the best they could.

I have attached a photo Peter sent me of us "at rest" on stage. The colours look good don't they!

Two Bays Choir joins One Earth Choir

One Earth Choir project 21st February, 2012

Two Bays Choir was proudto take part in the One Earth Choir project in February 2012. At 11.00am GMT (10.00pm EST) choirs from all around the world simultaneously sang a beautiful song by Anna Bacchia from Switzerland. We were invited to send in videos of our choir singing the One Earth Choir song and another of our choosing. Our second video was of us singing One Heart Beating, a beautiful song by our director Sue Kirkpatrick. Many of us gathered together to watch the event on the big screen and were very excited to see our videos prominently featured during the event.
These are some photos from our video.

Appearing on the ABC February 2012

On Monday, 13th February, more than forty of us gathered at a house in Mt Eliza with commedian Dave O'Neill to film a skit for the Adam Hills in Gordon Street Tonight show. Dressed in our finery and pearls we gathered on a makeshift stage in the front garden decorated with four porcelain toilet bowls filled with flowers artfully disguising the sprinklers hidden beneath. After much rehearsal, waiting around, spontaneous singing and laughter it was lights, camera, action as we sang with great gusto a song about dogs wee-ing against a backdrop of dry ice clouds and fountains (of water) shooting into the air. Two Bays Choir hits the big time!
