TwoBaysChoir

Two Bays Choir, located on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, is a combination of three community a'cappella choirs. 'Simply Irresistible' sings Blues and Swing, and rehearses on Monday nights in Frankston. 'Making Waves' focuses on World Music and meets on Tuesdays, whilst 'Indigo Singers' is a Gospel Choir which combines rehearsal with the Tuesday night choir in Mornington. There are no auditions. Men and women of all ages and experience are welcome.

Two Bays Choir Diary

  • SATURDAY 31ST MARCH. SES Fundraising Family Fun Day, 9.00 – 4.00pm.Village Green on the foreshore, Nepean Highway, opposite Rosebud Hotel. Two Bays Choir will be performing at 1.45pm for half an hour.
  • SUNDAY 25TH MARCH - Kananook Creek Community Celebration Day, 10.00am – 3.00pm. Seaford Community Centre, Station Street, next to Kananook Creek. Two Bays Choir will be performing between 1.00 and 1.30pm.
  • Choir rehearsal times - please go to the "about us" tab.

Community Musical Events

  • The Melbourne A Capella Festival is on at Chapel Off Chapel. 13th to 18th March, 2012. Go to http://getvocalfestival.com/concerts/ You can also attend workshops.

Our Director - Sue Kirkpatrick

Hi. I am the director of Simply Irresistible, Making Waves, Indigo Singers and Two Bays Choir. I run weekly rehearsals and arrange our songs into 3 or 4 part harmony for the choirs.
I am a song writer and percussionist and teach primary school music. I also present occasional singing or percussion workshops.
